Promised some different pics of the handsome lil baby boy – here they are in classic BW tones. At this age everything they do is a new adventure for the new parents. Even dads sigh when bubs sleeping, and sigh contentedly when they waken – as if it were some miracle taking place. And mum’s cry when their precious baby looks as if he’s smiling. All designed to deepen a parents love for their child. [maybe to prepare them for when their precious bundle changes a tad 13 or 14 years later 🙂 Nonetheless the more one connects at these early stages the greater the love and connection. And that’s the way it is in so much of life. Parenting can be so fascinating.

Another of the couples – this pair have a gorgeous little boy who is close to a year old;… just before he gets that total independence from being able to walk. They make an absolutely delightful couple. And for good measure it turned out that it was her birthday. So happy birthday and I was really pleased to have taken her birthday photos for her.

Last week our work folk all got together for an afternoon lunch and celebrations for Christmas down the Nedlands foreshore. Absolute glorious early summers day in Perth. Fab time and it really was well earned after a really busy year at the office.
Two of our colleagues have been on Maternity Leave for a little bit. Well they came along near on an hour after we had started. Guess what suddenly took all the attention,……. yep! two little babies. And it wasn’t just the ladies getting all gahgah over the bubs. The blokes too. Fari crack of the whip! Well I decided I should record some this for our staff photoshow tooooo 🙂 Took just a couple or three. [if you go back a couple of months you will see some earlier shots – especially of a very pregnant Ange]
So I decided that it was probably appropriate for two photos to herald both the end of one year and the beginnings of the next. And in our case what more to reflect that newness but the new babes of the Verigen family. The oldest first of course – by around 3 months.

All too often we take photos of everything around us but we neglect the people in our own family. And when we finally get around to it, we are always amazed at how much the youngest have changed. Truly we live in a fast paced era where the weeks and months flash by our eyes.
Few days ago the ‘expectant’ couple pictured several weeks ago have finally welcomed a new bub into the world. He’s a healthy baby boy and mum’s doing well!. Hope to take a few photos tomorrow. I just know they will be one set of amazing parents.
Had a fabulous family shoot week ago. I loved hearing mum and dad’s reaction to the pics – especially of the kids. Well you are going to love these. A couple of samples of what’s to come – mum and daughter – with a few more real soon.
This little angel has the sweetest singing voice for such a young lady. And a fabulous attitude too.

A baby is soon to make his/her entrance into this wonderful world. Of course once bub lets those lungs loose it will be like a trumpet announcing that two cute doggies are about to have their habits retrained a tad. No longer will they hold centre stage. But that’s the way of life when a child is born. Babies are absolutely dependent and require quite a bit of attention. It’s all good.
But just for now a pic of Karen with her current babies giving a bit of doggie love to her!!!

Took some pics of Karen,… she’s been waiting … and growing … for 9 1/2 months. This is one of my favourites.
Oh yes and the boys were there too. Seth [the daddy in waiting] gets into some – maybe tomorrow I will put one up with him alongside his beautiful wife. And the twins – Karen’s puppy dogs – they were there just as fast as their little legs would let them 🙂

Been terribly slack in posting – nine days and only one post. Time to get more consistent.
Recent pic taken of little 10 week old baby Charlotte with her mum. Bub was a little weary and due for a sleep . . . but that’s the way it is sometimes. Mum’s doing well and she’ll raise a fabulous family. She’s a natural. Charlotte was just so placid – though we are told she has a very strong pair of lungs to use when she want’s to.
