Growing organisations mean growing in staff and also supporting the wider industry by developing future participants. That’s what we’re doing with Anne as she does about 6 months of work experience under one of our great scientists. So here’s a couple of pics of Anne and another for Rebecca … who just loves having her photo taken [I think

Couple of great pics of Abdu taken the other day.
Lighting was strong late afternoon coming in through a 1.5 metre gap between two buildings and hitting the corrugated iron wall-paneling on a sharp angle. Didn’t have reflectors with me so I used a plastic lid with a bit of A3 size white paper to push some light into the near side of his face. End result is below. You really don’t need much more than some observant eyes to read the source of illumination and a bit of thinking when placing your subject in the best position to get what you want.
Second pic has a touch of watercolour to the background.

I was reminded last week that I’d done this fabulous shot up of a young lady participating in a talent contest. And she is hugely talented, relaxed & great poise far beyond her years. So here is the pic for Grace, her mum.

Another example of this - it’s so subjective. While we are trying to get away from formal pics, sometimes you get someone who is so full of life that a formal one is,… well,… different. Gotta take more of Sarah yet.

Today’s Special is ……. Some new music by Leslie Feist to listen to while you check out the photos. Track number two [ My Moon My Man ]is definitely my favourite. Be a great song to put a photoshow to.
Some more photo’s of course - from Friday. Just 2 for now. Of course had to put up another of the very animated Sarah.

And of course singing the blues is…..

well sorta.

After a big week at work it was good to take a few staff photos - slowly but surely getting something of everyone. Well if I’m trying to capture the personalities of people I got it in one and two and another 40 photos of Sarah. She’s an absolute scream and brings humour into the busiest of workplaces. And this is only 10am in the morning! It might not be her pick but for me it’s Sarah all over

Twice in a month I’ve featured Ryan. Good cause though. He had a pretty reasonable season of footy and his team - Whitford Warriors - made the finals. So a pic of him and his fabulous wife from just before heading into the celebrations at the Rendezvous.

Been terribly slack in posting - nine days and only one post. Time to get more consistent.
Recent pic taken of little 10 week old baby Charlotte with her mum. Bub was a little weary and due for a sleep . . . but that’s the way it is sometimes. Mum’s doing well and she’ll raise a fabulous family. She’s a natural. Charlotte was just so placid - though we are told she has a very strong pair of lungs to use when she want’s to.

Well the footy season is over and what a fizzer the BIG Grand Final turned out to be - especially after all the riveting games leading up to it. Geelong Cats got the cream and whipped Port Power. Oh well it all starts again next March!
We were watching it and the winners were just … explosive/had a day out/too good. So much so that by half time it was, as a game, BORING. Considering that the last few Grand Finals had been soooooo close and really nail biting stuff.
So I got the camera out and took a few photos of Ryan. He had his birthday a couple of weeks ago - turning the BIG 30. Thus his pic watching the footy.

And no he wasn’t barracking for the losers - he was going for the Cats :-) Just that he was enjoying the skills on display. They were quite awesome.
