I took just a couple of shots of Kristen at a wedding in 2005. She is sooooo photogenic. But what’s better is that there are no tickets on her. Down to earth - feet on the ground type. Asked her the other day if I could put them up on my blog. She say, “Yeah. Great. They’re not bad. But I’ve got better!” Then she realised how it had come out. Guess the male ego just took a dive!!!

Quite some years ago Frank and his wife Kath were part of a group of friends. Out of that Frank, Michael and myself started to get together on regular basis to talk about life's events. Guys often struggle to relate in a way that allows them to talk about issues they face or just things that get up their nose - be it work or family or whatever.
Took this photo one evening down at Hillarys Boat Harbour - one of God's gifts to humanity. Fabulous place. For people overseas who come visit Perth - make sure you head up there for a meal and a stroll along beach on the best coast in the world.

Australians often get caricatured by the minority dropkicks who cause others grief or by the wannabe "Crocodile Dundee" types. But if you want a role model on your life for being a genuine Aussie Bloke who has a red hot go in life then look no further than Phil; if you want someone to stand by you when things are going tough,… then he's the one to call. And I reckon the picture says it all.
He's no one's fool,… and Phil is one the great pastors at my local church. There's not much on the website about him yet, at http://www.ccchh.org.au, but there will be soon.

Most of the time that I speak of people who inspire me to go beyond myself I look to those who have gone before me. These photos show a young lady who is a bit younger. I shot these during a staff planning retreat. Kezza was so convinced and committed to what she believed she was meant to do - working with young people - that she was prepared to work for nothing. Six years later and it's not been an easy road but the life in her is visible for all to see. She will influence for the better a whole generation of young people.

These guys were doing their level best to keep the groom relaxed - he was soooo nervous. But it was an awesome day and he and his bride were great to work with.

Speaking of reflecting character. This photo declares his personality. Steve is just so creative. Talented musician in his own right. But Steve also coordinates and pastors over 100 volunteers in the creative ministries arena of our local church. Check out his handiwork on http://www.ccchh.org.au where you will see the latest CD he produced with his team.

I love taking photos that reflect peoples character or personality. This one was just a spontaneous affirmation of the Bride toward her fabulous Flower Girl. And that is how she is everyday. She is terrific.

In the midst of weddings in Australia there is a brief time between all the adreneline rush leading into the ceremony and the celebrations to come at the reception. During the location shoot the bride gets a chance to relax, take a breath and enjoy the moment. That's what this image portrays. Says it all.
